In 2025, Musica Muta were awarded at the InterContinentalMusicAwards inLosAngeles with their piece Vajont —dedicated to the 1963 Italian tragedy—winning the European Alternative category in a competition celebrating outstanding musical talents from around the world. Since 2025, the duo has also collaborated with CandyRatRecords, one of the world’s leading labels for acoustic guitar music—a partnership born from the release of their arrangement of Smoke on theWater, where the legendary riff takes on new life through modern fingerstyle: percussive, dynamic, and overwhelming, carved by two guitars that turn a rock classic into a wordless journey.
